I felt the film artistically was wonderful, the movement and performance of the marionettes a credit to their manipulators, however I found the actual storyline sadly lacking and felt myself waiting for it to 'get going' throughout. I came out of the cinema (it was a showing in the UK for the British Puppet Guild) and, alongside many others, felt pleased by the puppetry witnessed, but disappointed by the movie.
