Again, on the subject of Sicilian Rod Puppets...I see now that you did say
it is 28" tall. If it has a "tin" suit, I would say that it is not a puppet
built for a puppeteer to use.  Sicilian rod puppets are generally made of
brass, with carefully carved wooden joints.  I suggest that this puppet was
made for the tourist trade, coming either from Sicily, Southern Italy or
Southern Spain.  Probably the second.
Can you date it by the fabric? Nancy (again)

I am appriasing a marionette and I have knowledge on dolls but not
puppets. If I don't know the answer, I try to go to an expert that
does. I need to know if the marrionette is worth puttiing on ebay or
junk. I need to know its value, and any other information about it.
It is  a wood marionette with metal armor(tin?) and cloth joints. It
is 28" tall and looks old.
Any information about this marionette would be helpful.
