Inkfish Arts and Collective Unconcious present THE NOSE, a new adaptation of Nikolai Gogol's classic short story for puppet theater.

THE NOSE: In a society built on lechery and deceit =97 where love is rewarded with lies, and corruption rules the day =97 one nose has the courage to cut itself off from its face to spite its man and strike out on its own.

THE NOSE is conceived and directed by Alissa Mello, with puppet and stage design by Michael Kelly, and story adaptation by Andy Roth. Sound score is composed by Joemca, accompanied by Kamala Sankaram on the accordian. The cast features Kevin Buckland, Michael Kelly, Eva Lansberry, Jon Riddleberger, Jane Catherine Shaw, Brian Snapp and Eric Wright.

Collective:Unconscious is located at 279 Church St. two blocks below Canal Street and is within easy walking distance from most subways, please go to www.weird.org for directions. Tickets are available online at www.TheaterMania.com . Adult tickets are $15.00, students and seniors are $12.00. Sunday matinee performances are "pay-what-you-can." Tickets are available in person at the box office on a first- come, first-served basis on the day of the performance. Cash only. Not available online or over the phone. Subject to availability. Not valid for previously purchased tickets. No refunds or exchanges. The Collective:Unconscious box office opens 30 minutes prior to performance time.
