Subject: [Puptcrit] Vertigo of Sheep

Some of you may have seen our show "The Vertigo of Sheep" at the
Puppeteers of America's PuppetFest 2005 in St. Paul last summer. We
have been invited to perform at Atlanta's Center for Puppetry Arts in
March 2007 and so we are now trying to set up a national tour in
March and April, 2007. We are targeting the East Coast but since we
will be driving across from Oakland (where the set lives), we'd be
interested in any venue between Oakland and Atlanta and up the East
Coast. If you can think of venues who might be interested, please
email suggestion to me directly, off this list-serve.

Thanks for your help!

THE VERTIGO OF SHEEP
Thingumajig Theatre

In THE VERTIGO OF SHEEP, a well-meaning but unreliable clown,
attempts to explain the Book of Genesis. Were Adam and Eve set up to
fail? Did Abraham truly intend to sacrifice his son? Why did Lot's
wife really turn into a pillar of salt? Through household objects,
puppets, physical theater and live music, Thingumajig Theatre creates
a world where profane objects are sacred and the sacred is hilarious.

"...You're struck by the extraordinary quality of the production
values....Kim seamlessly wrought uber-familiar Bible stories some new
and compelling existential questions for me, and now I can't wait to
see more of his work." --Karen Larsen, The Puppetry Journal

Running Time: 65 minutes
Recommended for ages 10 and up
