While thermoplastic adhesives share some of the same components as Napalm, Napalm was not used to make them. It was, however recycled. Check out http://www.mindfully.org/Plastic/Napalm-Recycled.htm Out of the jungle and into industrial furnaces. But at least they did recycle. As to hot glue guns, I've yet to find one that would last more than a year before giving out. Seems like I have to replace mine annually, no matter how much, or how little I spend on it. Being the thrifty sort, I tried to get the first couple fixed. Leave it to American society today. It was cheaper to purchase a new gun than to get the components needed and pay for the labor to repair the old one. But I also cut off the cords and use them for a variety of purposes. I may not be able to recycle all of it, but I do what I can to re-use all I can of the non working gun. Peter /"Life is a banquet, and most poor suckers are starving to death!
