Thanks, Mary.  I appreciate it.  I do have to
apologize to Jim for sending my reply to him to the
entire group.  When I replied to Jim, I couldn't
understand why the letter did not appear on PuptCrit
and cut and paste it into a new posting.  It wasn't
until I saw Dan's note just now that I realized my
mistake.  So my sincere apologies to Jim for making
our chat public.

I should also say that I was not trying to attack him
at all, just offer a different perspective.  I have
great respect for him, even if I disagree with him. 
Otherwise I wouldn't bother replying.

I am also not trying to appear holier-than-thou.  I
don't think there is anything wrong with taking money
from McDonald's or any company if you LIKE McDonald's
or if you believe they are a great benefit to the
world and its peoples.  I DO think we should live up
to our beliefs.  And I DO think those issues were
relevant to puppetry, even if this letter is not.
