The Celebrate Puppetry Festival will take place next Saturday at the 
McGroarty Arts Center!

Optimist International presents:

WHAT?
CELEBRATE PUPPETRY FESTIVAL
Enjoy a FREE day of workshops,, booths, and performances by Buddy Big 
Mountain, Gumplestiltskin, and The Mahabarata in Shadow, a traditional Bali 
style Wayang Kulit Shadow Play by Bali & Beyond.  For the complete campfire 
experience, be sure to bring a cushion and blanket and enjoy the starry 
night!

• Take the 210 freeway to the Sunland Blvd off-ramp.
• Go east on Sunland Blvd to Plainview Ave.
• Turn Right on Plainview Avenue.
• Follow the curve at the end of Plainview (it becomes McGroarty Terrace).
• Look for street parking around the park and surrounding streets.  Do pay 
attention to the parking signs.

Please note - If you're driving from points Eastward (i.e. the San Gabriel 
Valley) please go to Mapquest or equivalent and do a direction search!
