Subject: [Puptcrit] Celastic



Hey y'all
I keep hearing that they don't make celastic anymore,
and I think that is not quite true. I called up
Saderma Leather today; they are a wholesale cobblery
here in LA. They said they do still carry it, but it
isn't as good as it used to be. Well I have heard that
story for years, but I have also used the Bad Celastic
for masks, bases to heads, etc. I found it very
usefull, so long as you understand its limits, and
deal with it safely. I understand that there are other
orthopedic uses for the stuff also, so I think it is
still out there. Folks are just still pining for the
old celastic, kind of like pining for the old formula
plastic wood.
