Subject: Re: [Puptcrit] Celastic, Shmelastic!

I for one am happy to trade in my celastic (though I keep a small staff
of gold old medium weight green for special occasions.) But I think
I've breathed in enough acetone fumes for one lifetime. Good riddance!

My favorite celastic substitute is coffee filters. Yes, folks.
Scientifically designed to let liquid soak through without getting
soggy, It cuts like paper and bonds between layers with nary a blister
nor a seam. Depending on what kind of glue or binding agent you use
with it, 4 or layers is equivalent in strength to 2 layers of celastic.
1 box of 40 #6 filters will do several human sized heads.

I'm sure it was some one on pupt crit who first turned me onto this.
Does that person know if flat coffee filters come in even larger sizes?
Or if there is somewhere in the USA to buy the coffee filter material
before it gets transformed into pouch form?
