Our kids grew up with various puppet body parts throughout the shop and house. They thought it was kind of fun however. They would sneak off with some hands and feet and bury them so they were sticking up out of the flower bed! <G> My son took half a puppet head (the top half I'd cut off for some reason) and set it out proudly on his desk. Thankfully, it doesn't appear to have affected them adversely in their adult lives. LOL! They were pretty excited when one of our puppets ended up on a recent Sprint commercial. We have different drivers who deliver UPS packages to the shop here. Some are quite interested in seeing all the puppet parts and figures in various stages of completion. Others look like they're about ready to freak out! <G> The latter tend to leave rather quickly!
