I was just wondering this morning about what it would take to do some small-scale vacuum forming. I remember a buddy of mine back in the Sixties having a little Vac-U-Form set from Mattel that he used to make small model cars and stuff - back when kids were allowed to burn the dickens out of themselves in the name of fun and learning. (I didn't have that same set but had a Thing Maker and a bunch of different Creepy Crawler molds, and still have the scars to prove it.) Thanks Will for passing along this link, and pointing out the whole Studio Creations web site in general - especially the "How-to" section... http://www.studiocreations.com/howto/ This site may be common knowledge to most here on the list, but it was new to me. Ron Glasgow Cumming GA USA PS Anybody here ever try recycling two-liter soda bottles by cutting off the top and bottom ends, cutting a slit up the side of the remaining cylinder, and heating and flattening that out into a sheet to use with vacuum forming? Or would that be the wrong kind of plastic? Any cheap sources for styrene or other suitable sheet plastic? _______________________________________________ List address: puptcrit-AT-lists.driftline.org Admin interface: http://lists.driftline.org/listinfo.cgi/puptcrit-driftline.org Archives: http://www.driftline.org
