Personally I never watched the show, but these folks are great! Came down from Canada to do it, So they could work with the Chiodo Brothers. Chiodo's are the guys who finally produced the puppets for Team America, and this 200th episode is one long list of gags, the opening of which is done a la Team America. I think it is mostly funny to the folks that watch the show regularly. Again, it has moments of us trying to do some really nice puppetry, followed by moments of purposely bad marionette work that they think is hysterical. Puppeteers are just not the target audience. But is was still fun to do. They actually shot the whole sequence with the actors, then shot plates to correspond, and then came to LA and shot the puppet elements on Green Screen. That whole idea of pre-shooting the sequence with people quickly first to figure out the plates and the editing seemed pretty clever to me. The show airs around Aug 20th (I think they said 24th?) So Enjoy!
