Softening can be terrible if you have something glued while stretched under tension. Another finding, it may not show any damage if you remove it when the product or test in your case has cooled down (assuming there was no tension, just flat surfaces glued together). Over a month it will heat up and cool down many times. If you test it when it's cool, its strong....However, when it is hot and in it's softened state and you then try to bend or manipulate it, it could fall apart in your hands. Anxiously hunting for a high temp stick that won't soften under 200 degrees.
