My guess is that she is trying to make it clear that
there will be babies in attendance along with older
siblings, so if you don't want to play a gig like
that, don't call. 

We do NOT recommend our shows for children under age
three and tell all potential clients this so they
won't be upset that the one year olds were not
captivated. If they want to book anyway, we say fine.
Some audiences are better than others REGARDLESS of
the age of the members. 

We routinely keep three year olds' attention for a
full 30 minutes. You're right, Mark, it's a skill.
Helps if you like kids, which a shocking number of
children's entertainers don't. (Not a reference to
Mark - I wouldn't flame you that way!)
