The clear may not be the best choice but you can paint it. Let it cool and pull it out - assuming you have no undercuts. If you do, then you have to either make a multiple part mold, or cast in something more flexible like latex, neoprene, polyurathane foam, silicone, etc each has it's own conditions and treatments to the surface of the mold, etc..
