There is also magnetic paint that can be applied to any # of surfaces. The  
paint contains iron filings. Once painting the magnetic paint to the surface it 
 can be top coated with a regular  paint.This can make for some fun and  
puzzling antics. Objects sticks in one spot and not to another. Both areas look  
and feel identical. it also allows for a non metal surface to be used for a  
magnetic puppet stage.
