Hello Ana and critters:

Ana.
I have not been able to read all of the replies so I do apologize if this is
a repeat.

I know the PofA audio visual library has these tapes to rent for a modest
fee. You must be a PofA member.
I, too, would like to own a set of these videos.

The puppeteer in the piece you've mentioned is Albrecht Roser of Stuttgart,
Germany.
It's called the Clown and the Flower.
Roser said the image of the clown is of his father who died earlier and which
came to him in a dream.
The marionette is a head and shoulder marionette. No torso -no legs.
The music is known as 'The Aniiversary Waltz' but I'm nor sure of it's
original title.
You can hear it played online by Google-ing the title.

The clown appears with a single bloom in his hand. He is enthralled with the
bloom and is besides himself with joy. He smells it and is in ecstacy.
Another bloom suddenly appears in his other hand. He is now smitten with this
new arrival and focuses his attention on it as the hand holding the first
bloom slowly drops to his side (out of sight - out of mind). He recalls it and
lifts it high again. He cannot choose. Each bloom is lifted in turn until the
clown collapses in frustration...

I can send you an image of the clown and also have the performance on VHS
from a master class.

Hope this helps.
