Subject: [Puptcrit] Mid-Summer Glue Report


On May 30 I made three cylinders of foam using a low temp glue gun and  three 
different brands of glue, then put them in the trunk of my car.  High  
temperature in Phoenix has only been about 113 this year, but it's been over 100  
every day since.  I don't have covered parking.  This morning I opened  the 
trunk and pulled them out.  All three were intact!  These are the  glues I used:
 
Surebonder All Purpose Stik All temp
Adhesive Tech  All temp Ultimate
Aleene's All-purpose dual-temp
 
However, magnets that I'd glued onto the playboard of my walking stage fell  
off after one afternoon of riding around in the car.  
 
I'm putting the cylinders back in the trunk and will check again during the  
monsoon season (high humidity).
