Subject: [Puptcrit] Bottlers


Dear friends of the puppet,

Unfortunately, I have yet to see a live Punch and Judy show. This is a 
regrettably broad question, but are "bottlers" still a part of the scene? If 
not, 
when did they (begin to) disappear? Did they carry over into North America, or 
are they strictly a thing of the past?

I'm looking forward to putting some names to faces in London next week at the 
OPA/PofA conference!
