Liz,

I wasn't trying to say that "Dorian Gray" should
itself be the basis for a show about stealing for
little children, but that it demonstrated one of many
ways artists have dealt with the idea of wickedness
without countering it by simply saying, "don't steal;
God doesn't like it."

For the purposes of Brett's proposed show, as you say,
simple, uncomplicated, and sweet (but funny) would
probably be more effective than "terrifying"!

--Sorry about typos I notice after it's too late, as
when I wrote "looking" when I meant "looting"
earlier.--
