I've only been a member since 1990 and joined because I wanted to meet other like minded artists, and also to further the Art of Puppetry. I guess I've found that like any organization of humans there are disagreements. I belong to a number of groups where there's "always something". Some people term this politics, but I've seen that most of it is personalities. But the result is the same. I really appreciate your point, though, that we all have a common interest in puppetry and a common goal in the furtherance of this creative art. If you are not a member, consider joining. www.puppeteers.org and follow the links to membership. If you are a member, thank you.
