Thanks William. Coming from you, I take it as a big compliment.

You being such an inspiration for high-end  rod-operated puppets.

I plan to move away from the blocks and rough shapes, to go into more 
"realistic" approaches, even fro fntasy creatures.


The tutorial shows a method that is a good starting point. I didn' even 
indicate where to carve, or suggest a type of character. I'm sure these are 
applicable to an horizontal quadruped as well.
The principles are transferable to the refined puppets.
