Subject: [Puptcrit] Series' of Puppet Shows

Hey all,

Happy end of unofficial summer this week!

I'm the person who keeps track of what we call "Puppet Places" for Puppeteers of America. Those are Puppet Theaters, Museums, Puppetry Centers, and such- places where the public can see puppetry on a very regular ongoing basis. These are identified in our annual directory and on the PofA website <www.puppeteers.org>.

This year I'd like to create an additional list that identifies the various ongoing series' of puppet shows that occur outside of a home base, or in conjunction with another arts center or civic space. I'm not looking for single shows, or for something that happens one year but never again. I AM looking to identify series that include 3 or more productions a year on an ongoing basis, and which have stable, clear contact information (phone number, website for information, email for information, etc.).

These series' can be aimed at family shows or adult shows.

If you run one of these series, or if you know of one, would you email me the info and contact info to my personal address so I can investigate it for possible inclusion in this year's list.

Thanks for the help!

Karen
