Ive been asked to create 30-40,000 puppets!
Sounds impossible but I think I have an interesting angle.
Lots of Participants...say 7-10,000 people at a festival.... are given a blank glove puppet made from recycled paper (of course) and are encourage to decorate it with their own themes/imagery/colours etc. Of course we would ask the participants to do a few each and then at a central event at the festival the puppets would be distributed amongst the crowd and we could create a "Sea of Puppets" much in the vein of the "sea of hands". 
Has any one had much experience with paper glove puppets and or getting a manufacturer to produce them?
Any ideas/lateral thinking/discussion around this would be appreciated.
