Subject: [Puptcrit] TV, Fundraising and Puppetry


Jerry Lewis Labor Day annual TV telethon has started and I assume will 
be full of celebrities from the  TV world. Past guests listed included 
the Muppets.
Puppetry being used to raise funds for "Jerry's Kids", etc.

Anyone know of any Puppets/puppeteers who will be on this year?

On CBS network premiere week (September 18th) Dave Letterman has joked 
that a different ventriloquist act will be featured each night, Any one 
know who will be on? He keeps bemoaning the fact that his favorite, 
Senor Wences (real name Wenceslao Moreno), is no long around. he wwas 
on Ed Sullivan a lot and Letterman's show is done in the Sullivan 
theatre. Wences also appeared on Letterman's NBC shows.
