LA Guild like most have had it's ups and downs, but it has an impressive list 
of accomplishments.   Alan was a long time editor of the newsletters, many 
well-known puppeteers have been members and officers.   The Guiid has been led 
by wonderful, dedicated puppeteers and supporters.   It would be senseless to 
try and name them all, but there are those, like Alan who has been there the 
whole time. I joined when I moved to the LA Area in 1966.   Jim Gamble
