Subject: [Puptcrit] New Book on Paul Klee Hand Puppets


I bought a copy for list price $35 at Norton Simon Museum gift shop in Pasadena CA about a week ago. 152 pages include 182 illustrations (some are small, 86 in color) of about 30 surviving hand puppets (once there were about 50) which Paul Klee made for his son Felix. The puppets are now preserved at the new Zentrum Paul Klee in Bern.  Available at Amazon.com

There are versions in English, German and in French. An earlier book on the same subject has shown up on e-bay ranging from $300-$500 a copy, so it was time for this new book.
