Wow, thanks William.
I don't remember ever receiving a "holy cow" before.
Can you specify what works for you in that piece?

What I find fantastic, is that you can be so full of generous compliments
about my work, which is still rather crude. As always, I'm being rather hard
on myself, although it's only been 6 years since I started building puppets
"for real".

I do like my creations hese days, but I want to work in high definition,
like you do.
I want to use silicones and molds and high precision mechanics, but am still
in the realm of modest everyday materials. Which is still a good thing, I
think. Limited resources force me to come up with practical simple
solutions. I do appreciate the solutions and the learning, but I am
convinced there are less frustrating ways to learn at least some of the
trade. I wish I could choose to stay with modest materials, not be forced to
"settle".
Oh well.

Gotta go to sleep now, to dream to travel to learn.
I've been reading some chapters of Shadowland, by Peter Straub, before going
to bed for a few days, and I'm still waiting on the hallucinations to start
coming.

It's my second reading of it. The first time, I must have been 14. I don't
understand how I could have read so many adult books without getting bored,
as I only now understand some of the subplots and meanings I had no inklings
about at that age.
The human mind is a fascinating and puzzling jumble!
