Subject: [Puptcrit] Chinese Puppetry


I am writing a 15 page essay on puppetry in China during the cultural
revolution. I hope to look at either how it was used to build nationalism,  
or how it was used as a form of political commentary. I have seen "the  
Puppet Master" movie about Li Tien Lu and I am having trouble finding books 
about what the government outlawed in puppetry, or any other detailed 
examples of the effects of this banning. Any help is greatly apreciated.
