Hi Bec,

I only have some experience with cloth and tents.  

1. Pray for dry weather.
2. Scotch Guard or Lacquer or pray for dry weather.
3. Have a good place to lay things out to dry afterwards and see
suggestion one above. 

I am looking forward to seeing what others say on this one:).
