Subject: Re: [Puptcrit] Foam puppets: GeL contact Cement

 >>> Today I worked some more with foam, this time I used actual contact
cement instead of the hot glue. I only used hot glue on minature
puppets, and because I couldn't work the toxic stuff at home. But for
this project, I work in a studio where nopbody actually lives.
So I bought a can of the gel contact cement from Lepage.
SO MUCH better! I used the gel version, which is amazingly easy to
apply with a firm stick, stays on the surface of the foam, dries fast,
and once the parts are joined, they are VERY strong!

Matheiu,
Good to know. This was foam rubber, or hard styrofoam?
best,
