Yes, I second the motion of hiring an attorney.

However, let me indulge in a little paranoia spreading:
No matter how "tight" the contract is, there still can be leaks that can be
hard to prosecute. Two examples, both are awful, one adds one more touch of
ridiculous to a notorious dictator.

1)A person I met, a TV puppeteer here in Montreal, found out that a show she
performed for was airing in a european country. They never received any
checks, although they were supposed to earn rights for every episode that
aired. She tried to talk to whoever in charge, but there was nothing
concrete they were willing to do, contrary to what they said, nothing was
happening. Having no fortune to spend on international lawyers, and no real
support from her ex team members, the burden became too big for herself
alone, and she dropped the fight after over a year of efforts.

2) Saddam Hussein stole images of paintings, years ago, to put on the cover
of and inside one of his novels. The painter from the US tried to sue, but
the crime having occured in Irak, there was no way to prosecute. In this
case, no contract, but hey, it's still funny to think of a dictator writing
romance novels.

also check out the rest of the site, his fantasy portrait/landscapes are
very well-done.
