I don't know about this specific person since these people seem to switch
user names a lot (for obvious reasons) but I do have it on very good
authority that at least two of the people doing this are former employees of
the Muppet workshop in NYC although I don't think they were there for a long
time. They are not overseas they are based in the U.S. and the people brazen
enough to advertise on ebay are the tip of the ice burg. A lot of people
build replicas under the table when they get private inquiries.
