Someone on the list previously mentioned Delsarte's System of Oratory, which
is widely available on the internet. The main problem is that it has few
illustrations, although all the basic ideas seem to be there.

I did some more research over the years and found out that apparently a
company called Edgar S. Wener & Co. published several pamphlets that
illustrated the Delsarte System using photographs. They were quite common in
their day and apparently can be found online frequently for anywhere from
$10-50 depending on the condition of the pamphlet.

The "Pastimes At Home And School" book was published in 1897 and should be
in the public domain, along with the pamphlets I mentioned since they were
published before 1923 so I don't see why there should be a problem
distributing the information freely. If I get my hands on them I'd love to
scan them and add them to www.puppetbuilding.com as well as make them
available via the Project Gutenberg digital library.
