I always go for the easy solution first! :) So I did try the 250W work light from Home Depot -- ditched the glass and painted the reflector with black heat-resistant paint. But the long-filament bulb didn't cast a focused image with my colored puppets unless they touched the screen. And, annoyingly, the black paint smoked!

|wow, what a lot of work,   when you can purchase a 250 w. security fixture 
|with bulb and glass for about $7 at the same Home Depot.   Throw away the glass, 
|use a gobo or barn doors to contail the light, and you have the same
