Hanna-Barbera was the creator of MGM's Tom and Jerry cartoons. Then became the brain child of Yogi Bear, Scooby Doo, The Flinstones, The Jetsons, Huckleberry Hound, Captain Caveman, Quick Draw McGraw and so on. He will be missed by all cartoon fans. Walt Disney said that It all began with a mouse. For my puppetteering career, it began with a bear; Yogi Bear. In 1986, I worked with Jimmy Rowland's workshop in Alexandria Va. I not only did some repairs of Jimmy's marionettes versions of the Hanna-Barbera Characters for the Kings Productions Parks; now Paramount. I did many shows with those puppets as well at Kings Island and Carowinds in NC. Also spent a few winters at the Kings Production Character shop. Assisting in the production of characters for the parks, touring shows and the crazy assembly of 80 Yogi Bears for the KOA Campgrounds. Later in life, not only being a fan of the Hanna-Barbear Cartoons but using some of his character designs to create my own marionettes. As far as eye placement, mouth movement , body structure and so on. Thank you Mr. Barbera.
