Thanks so much Sean- your list is excellent.
I agree the Henson Foundation Puppet Happenings is a grear resource.

-disclaimer- I do NOT see every show I mention-
Here are some more!

Avenue Q is a show that puppeteers should see if for no other reason than
lots of non-puppeteers see it and like it. Opinions are divided on the way
that puppets are used in the show. The only way to know is to see it and
make up your own mind.

Lenny Suib Playhouse on 90th St is another venue

Maya the Bee is still running (since 2000-every Saturday afternoon) on
Bleeker St in Greenwich Village

Havent seen this one

At the Public Theatre
"under the Radar festival-tracking new theatre"
Jan 17-28 Old Trout Puppet Workshop (Canada) seen at 2005 national in St
Paul
"famous puppet death scenes" (in my humble opinion- a catchy title!SA)

I just checked the New Victory Theatre-nothing specifically puppety in Feb
They will present Macbeth co-produced by the Chicago Shakespeare Theatre and
Italy's Colla Marionettes
April 20-29 http://www.newvictory.org/

and if you are planning ahead
St Ann's Warehouse in Brooklyn has its puppet lab celebrating its 10th
season
they have a springtime showing of works

I dont think there is any other city in the world- including Prague-that has
as much puppetry as NYC
