Subject: [Puptcrit] George Latshaw


I was very sorry to read about the passing of George Latshaw. I only  
ever saw him once at the Colwyn Bay International Puppet Festival in  
1963 when he appeared with Wilbur. One of my principal memories was  
his show "Hand in Glove" which I thought was great and very funny.  
Amongst the other individuals to make an impression were Fred  
Schneckenburger from Switzerland and Sergei Obratsov who all provided  
a different aspect to Puppetry as I then knew it.
George was certainly one of the Masters.
