Wow, the Gentle Giant is gone. I have been thinking of him quite a bit 
lately, sending a few notes and such. He was a friend and inspiration. 
He will truly be missed both by those that knew and loved him and by 
those who will never get that privilege. His work will live on through 
those who saw his work, mentored under him, read his writings or for 
many years his editorship of the Journal, and whose own work was 
improved by a suggestion, direction, or simply a chat at a festival. 
Regardless of whether he is on a list of Master puppeteers or not, he 
is high on MY list of Masterful Human Beings, and to me that is even a 
greater list to be included on. IMHO, one could not go far wrong 
following in his footsteps.
