Mary, Thanks for that story about the festival

Fran's name was associated with large puppets. but mostly I remember him as 
a funny funny man.

I saw Fran's ventriloquist routine 3 or 4 times and each time it made me
laugh so much, it hurt
Simple summary-
The ventriloquist with huge bravado, carries on while bit by bit his figure
falls apart.

The routine was perfectly timed, and kept getting more and more absurdly 

Happy solstice to all, the days are now getting longer (at least North of 
the Equator)
and Happy Mid-summer to everyone in Brazil and Australia
