May I give him your email address so he can contact you directly if he is interested? And to the person asking about books on shadow theater, we recently received a wonderful little book titled "Technik des Firurentheaters" which appears to have been printed in 1975. The technical drawings of the workings of the shadows are exquisitely detailed. If you can find this catalog on line I think it would be of interest to you. Or if you find yourself visiting Atlanta, please give me a call beforehand and set an appointment to come to our library and view it. Pollocks Toy Theatres in London used to sell a script for THE BROKEN BRIDGE, a famous Shadow show in the European tradition. It has been performed by American puppeteers. I have taught the simple, low-cost shadow thing at several PofA Fests, including the Tampa Fest. Perhaps this would be of interest to the teacher contact mentioned by Susan Kinney. I have taught simple shadows in schools for decades as a guest teacher, and performed for the whole age gamut from young kids to Seniors, ALAN COOK _______________________________________________ List address: puptcrit-AT-lists.driftline.org Admin interface: http://lists.driftline.org/listinfo.cgi/puptcrit-driftline.org Archives: http://www.driftline.org
