Matthew,

Get in touch with Bonnie and Andrew Periale of Perry Alley Theatre.  They perform humanettes, and as editors for years of Puppetry International, they may have written on them- or have run across good sources.

Also... look at the work of "Hugo & Inez".  A couple of their pieces border on humanette. I believe they live in Peru these days. I believe she was raised in the Czech Republic... but may be mistaken. They may know resources too.

I'll keep thinking.
