Thanks a lot! Your solution seems very simple! How do you prevent the cardboard box from expanding from the plaster weight? Cutting your mold in half with a bandsaw seems to make sense, as long as you consider the thickness of the blade, which will be removed from the model. The same happens with the string method, which is why, after my first mold in this method lost some thickness, I now use very thin dental floss. It does matter on very small scale models).
