These are our thoughts. Plan 1: Do something performance lecture style- Our favorite Plan 2. K-2 * Divide the mass into classes (-AT-10 groups.) There are 2 of us so each of us takes half the groups. * Have the teachers have the kids make simple shape puppets on craft sticks. Each grade makes a different shape puppet. Basically this is decorate a something and put it on one or 2 craft sticks. * One of us can spend time with each group. * Line em up like cord wood/ soldiers littlest kids in front. * Play appropriate music and let them do their thing. Plan 3. 3-5 * Divide the mass into classes (-AT-10 groups.) There are 2 of us so each of us takes half the groups. * Have the teachers have the kids make very simple 2 string marionettes using the strings as the controls * One of us can spend time with each group * Have a puppet parade with the resulting puppets to fun music Best wishes!
