Subject: [Puptcrit] Card catalog/puppet morgue

The card catalogue is really a wonderful thing. It cost more to move it
than to buy it, but it is well worth the effort. Mine is a double bank
and I would have rather had two singles but it was the best condition.
It is in the family room because it was easiest and the oak and brass
blends with the furniture there so well that a lot of folks don't even
notice it. I kind of thought it would be like the elephant in the living
room, but it really has blended.

I have six or so pull out tables and they are instant workspace for
puppet projects and the slots between the pull outs allows me to hang
marionettes for string work. If I ever get my act together all the
drawers have both numbers and labels so I can actually know what I have
where. At present, only part of the drawers are labeled, so I in some
cases keep methodically pulling drawers very quickly till I find what I
want. At least they aren't stacked on top of each other.

Anyone interested I saw one for local pick-up in NJ on Ebay and it looks
like the University of Washington is selling some off.

Best wishes!
