Subject: [Puptcrit] Bloggers Wanted - PuppetBuilding.com

Hi everyone,

I am looking for a little help with PuppetBuilding.com. One of my long term
goals is to build the site in to more of a community project than something
I do myself. Although the content presently up is limited, it gets a huge
volume of traffic and has an enormous amount of potential to do much more.

Right now I usually only have time to post updates a couple times a week and
the way my work life is looking for the next few months I may not be able to
do even that.

Specifically, what I need is one or two puppet builders who like to lend a
hand by volunteering to blog on the site's main page and posting useful
puppet building links and tips a few times per week. It would be great to
get someone with experience with marionettes or rod puppets, areas I have
less experienced in and that the site has not done a good job of covering so
far.

You can take a look at the site at http://www.puppetbuilding.com to see the
format if you're unfamiliar with it. Generally speaking the only guidelines
for writing would be:

On topic
One of the keys to site's success so far is it's all about puppet building
and doesn't stray off topic too much.

Written in the third person
No use of "I" or "me" in posts and ideally they should be written using
neutral point of view if possible (I've occasionally broke this rule in the
past, but I'm more strictly observing it now)

Short, susinct entries
I've gotten a lot of feedback from PuppetVision and PuppetBuilding.com users
indicating that most people like that the majority of entries are just one
or to paragraphs with links to more information.

If you're interested and would like to lend a hand or have questions please
email me off the list.

Thanks!

- Andrew
