Subject: [Puptcrit] Marionette stage

Hi Heather
I can't advise you re the stage, but have worked with a roller
skating act working on a small round surface which appeared to have a
strong frame supporting it. That all folded down ( not the top
though). Do you know any such acts?
For hanging marionettes I used a spotlight stand into which I had
made a roundel of iron with a simple cross bracing with a right
angled roundel of metal fitted in the middle to slot in the spotlight
stand. You could adjust the height of the stand and it wouldn't fall
over with the weight of the base. Because the roundel wasn't screwed
in, you could easily move puppets into position without any problem.
Good luck
John Dudley

If you receive this message twice, I found no trace of it first time
round last evening
