Subject: [Puptcrit] Popular Mechanics

I'm in love with the old Popular Mechanic series.
I've seen the tenth edition (1956) tonight, and my comment is: don't let any hostile alien invader get its hands on this treasure trove of inventiveness!
LoL.

I want that series. It's so full of great technical and practical instructions, one could re-build a material society almost from scratch. My sculptor collegue bought the books when he was perhaps 12 years old. Says he never really took the time to read them, but just got around to place it on his new studio's shelves recently.

Is there a version of this series we can get in today's world?
Even an electronic version, such as an ebook?

I'll keep my eyes open for it in second-hands bookstores as well.
