Subject: [Puptcrit] Paper Mache Release

This is a response to Mathieu's comment about plastic wrap as a release for
Mache.

When I was doing stuff like that I used to make my first layer just wet
paper toweling (or even tissue - although paper towels held together better
and were easier to work with).

Then would cover over that with the Mache....Easy release from the model
cause there was no glue directly touching it. Any of the Paper toweling that
I could not pull off would just smooth down with a little glue......it was
inside the head anyway and just added strength.

Used to use the same release method for Celastic Yikes!..positive or
negative. (and I still have my 5 yards of the original stuff, just in case
some day I will need it :) )..
