As always, you come in with the right solution!
Sorry to make you repeat, I now realise you told me all this directly a year 
or two ago, in various emails.  At least the rest of the group can benefit.

The more I work with foam, the more I like it, except for the fine dust, 
which makes me sneeze and gets everywhere.

Foam is so much easier for me to carve than wood, and I can always glue a 
piece back on still possible with wood, but more touchy).

Thanks again Fred, you are the one who convinced me to try foam again when 
we first started to correspond, and now I use it all the time. It is perfect 
in combination with paper mache. Lightweight and strong. I am surprised it 
is not a more common practice for puppet heads at least.
